The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon, 25-23. Here are all the highlights, the game recap and the final score.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers win it on a 34-yard field goal off the foot of Nick Folk to sink the still winless New York Giants. Tampa Bay improves to 2-1 on the year, while the Giants lose in dramatic fashion to fall to a dreadful 0-4 on the season.

This was a gut-check game from the Buccaneers. They knew that they were going to be getting the best game out of struggling New York. It was a back-and-forth affair with both quarterbacks Eli Manning for New York and Jameis Winston for Tampa Bay playing well.

This game felt like one where the team with the ball last would wind up winning it. Winston orchestrated a two-minute drill to set up the game-winning field goal by Folk. Don’t look now, but the Buccaneers have developed quite the home field advantage under head coach Dirk Koetter. It’s amazing what happens when Winston doesn’t throw picks in a game.

For a late afternoon kickoff, we sure got a terrific game. The Buccaneers are right in the mix in the ultra-competitive NFC South. All four rival teams have at least two wins on the year. The Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints have two, while the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers are 3-1.

New York may have seen its playoff dreams completely evaporate after this game. The Philadelphia Eagles won on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers to improve to 3-1. New York’s two other rivals already have two wins a piece. The Dallas Cowboys are 2-2 after Week 4, while the Washington Redskins still haven’t played at 2-1.

Though the Giants are winless, we have to start taking Tampa Bay seriously in the NFC hierarchy. New York may just need to get ready for the 2018 NFL Draft. The Giants are two wins worse than their stadium rival New York Jets, who are 2-2 after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in overtime on Sunday afternoon.
