The Indianapolis Colts will host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. Here is the game preview, the betting odds and a final score prediction.

Week 5 is upon us. One game that could have huge 2018 NFL Draft position implications this weekend will be the one between the San Francisco 49ers (0-4) and the Indianapolis Colts (1-3) on Sunday.

Kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on October 8. FOX will have the telecast with Thom Brennaman and Chris Spielman in the booth to call it. The available live streams can be found on NFL.com and on FuboTV.

San Francisco enters play as one of four teams without a win on the season. The 49ers, the Cleveland Browns, the Los Angeles Chargers and the New York Giants are the four teams that did not record a win in the first quarter of the 2017 NFL season. For San Francisco, this is an obvious rebuilding season, but the team has played well enough to win at least twice. Maybe the 49ers get win No. 1 this weekend?

Indianapolis has one win on the season and that came against Cleveland. The Colts have gotten surprisingly decent play out of backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett. He’s not Andrew Luck, but his trade value is increasing, as Brissett looks to be a low-end franchise quarterback in year two out of North Carolina State.

Betting Odds

Point Spread: Indianapolis -1
Moneylines: Indianapolis -120, San Francisco +100
Over/Under: 44.5

According to SportsBook Review, the Colts will be laying one point at home versus the visiting 49ers. The associated moneylines for this game are Indianapolis -120 and San Francisco +100. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 44.5 points.

With this game being in a dome and on turf, let’s go with the over in this potentially tight ball game between the 49ers and the Colts. For a game between two of the 10 worst teams in football, this one will be very entertaining. Not saying it will go to overtime, but we’re looking at a game decided by a touchdown or less.

What this game will come down to is which quarterback plays better: Brissett for the Colts or Brian Hoyer for the 49ers? Brissett has looked solid in his first three starts in Indianapolis. He will do enough in the fourth quarter to lead the Colts on a game-winning touchdown drive. Frank Gore punches it in from the goal line inside of a minute left. The Colts win by three and cover the one-point spread.

Prediction: Colts 24, 49ers 21
