Duke enters play at 4-1 (1-1) on the season. The Blue Devils have been knocking on the door of the top-25 for most of the early part of the season. They have wins over the North Carolina Central Eagles, the Baylor Bears and the Northwestern Wildcats in the non-conference.
While Duke was able to knock off the arch rival North Carolina Tar Heels in their ACC opener, they fell to the ranked Miami Hurricanes badly for their first loss of the season. Duke looks to be at the very least a bowl team this year. Can they get back in the ACC Coastal race with a big win over Virginia?
Virginia enters play at 3-1 (0-0) on the season. The Cavaliers have completed their non-conference slate. Saturday will be their first ACC game of the year. The Hoos beat the William & Mary Tribe, the UConn Huskies and the Boise State Broncos in the non-conference. Their lone loss is to the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten.
Virginia might be a bowl team under second-year head coach Bronco Mendenhall. Can the Hoos get a huge first win in ACC play over division rival Duke?
