Fantasy football Week 5 2017: Top 10 best matchups to attack

Week 4 is in the books. We are on to Week 5 of the NFL season! Fantasy football owners have to finally look at bye week fill-ins. Here are ten matchups to attack for this upcoming week.
Before we jump into Week 5 matchups, let’s look back on last week’s matchups fared.
Frank Gore and his Indianapolis Colts struggled against the Seattle Seahawks. The Colts veteran running back only got 12 carries for 46 yards. Game flow took Gore and the running game off the table as the Seahawks dominated.
Carolina Panthers’ running back Christian McCaffrey had ten touches for 49 yards. The Panthers put up an impressive offensive performance against the Patriots but the damage was done sans-McCaffrey. The young receiving back has fantasy upside but has disappointed based on his average draft position.
Ezekiel Elliott, last season’s leading rusher, had another impressive outing Sunday in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Elliott had 25 touches with over 130 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams won the game but Elliott impressed for fantasy owners.
The Miami Dolphins are currently the most underperforming offense in the NFL. jay Cutler made the matchups list for the second week in a row, and he disappointed again. The New Orleans Saints held the Dolphins’ quarterback to under 200 yards and no touchdowns. The Dolphins have been a mess in this young season and Cutler is not helping.
Pittsburgh Steelers’ tight end Jesse James looked like a prime breakout candidate if the team bounced back from their road woes. Unfortunately, that did not happen as the Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens. The tight end only had three receptions for 40 yards.
The Cincinnati Bengals were the defense of the week because they were playing the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland only mustered seven points. The Bengals defense was able to snag an interception and register two sacks.
Denver Broncos’ quarterback Trevor Siemian, coming off two impressive home performances, struggled against the Oakland Raiders. Siemian was able to avoid turnovers and got a touchdown but only totaled 179 yards.
Travis Kelce capped off another tough week for tight ends with an impressive performance. His Kansas City Chiefs won their tilt against the Washington Redskins on Monday. Kelce, with 11 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown, is firmly cemented in the upper echelon of tight ends.
Philadelphia Eagles’ running back LeGarrette Blount had his best day with his new team. The bruising back had 16 carries for 136 yards. He was unable to get into the end zone. If the Eagles are committed to running the ball as much as they did on Sunday, Blount will continue to have fantasy value.
Tyrell Williams was listed as the best matchup in Week 4. The Los Angeles Chargers’ wide receiver dominated the Eagles young, banged up secondary. He finished the day with five catches for 115 yards and a touchdown.
