In a battle of AFC teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars went into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers in their showdown on Sunday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars went to Pittsburgh looking to improve their record to 3-2 for better positioning in the AFC South. The Steelers, on the other hand, were trying to stabilize themselves in a shaky AFC North division.

When the two teams met, the Jaguars defense pounced on the Steelers’ quarterback. Roethlisberger had 312 yards passing, no touchdowns and five interceptions. The Jaguars’ Blake Bortles, meanwhile, only needed eight completions for his team to leave victorious, 30-9. Jacksonville improves to 3-2, while the Steelers fall to 3-2.

Here are some highlights from the game, along with three stars, updates on the betting lines and who the teams are playing next week.

Three stars

1. The Jacksonville Jaguars defense: “Picksonville”

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense was hungry and came out looking to take advantage of Roethlisberger’s tendency to throw interceptions.

They intercepted him five times and even took two of those back to the house for six points each. The Jaguars’ defense has been a dominant unit, but they really came out and feasted on a potent Steelers’ offense on the road.

2. RB Leonard Fournette

Fournette was a stud today, adding 181 yards on 28 carries, including two touchdowns. He had a long run of 90 yards, which he carried into the end zone for a touchdown.

The highlight might have been the play where Fournette calls for the hit from Steelers’ safety Mike Mitchell and them proceeds to truck him like it’s a video game.

The rookie running back had himself a day for Jacksonville and finds himself No. 2 on this list.

3. WR Antonio Brown

After the long week of drama between the Steelers’ QB and Antonio Brown, the duo finally came out to play. Brown had himself a big day, catching 10 balls for 157 yards. He was the only player that happened to suit up and show up for the Steelers.

There was a lot of doubt after his performance last week, but Brown showed why he remains one of the best receivers in the NFL.

Betting Odds

Steelers were 7.5 point favorites at home against the Jaguars and clearly, the Jaguars covered the spread. Most sharps had Jacksonville winning against the spread, and they came out and did exactly that in Week 5.
