Mike McGlinchey

Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

The Los Angeles Chargers finally got in the win column in Week 5, as they went into Metlife Stadium and beat the New York Giants. The Chargers have played pretty good football this season, but like they always do, they have found ways to lose late. First-year head coach Anthony Lynn finally got his first NFL win, and hopefully, for Chargers fans, there are plenty more to come.

While the win was nice, it was only their first of the year, which would put them in the top-5 in the draft order next April. With that pick, they need to solidify their offensive line, which has been a train wreck in recent years. The No. 4 selection should be spent on Mike McGlinchey of Notre Dame, who is the best offensive lineman in this entire draft class.

McGlinchey is a left tackle, which is exactly what the Chargers need. He can be an anchor on this offensive line for years to come, and finally, give Philip Rivers the protection he needs on his blind side. The big man has the size, and feet to stay on the left side, and would fill a huge void on the Chargers roster. Rivers still has plenty left in the tank, and running back Melvin Gordon is a freak, so the Bolts may be a few players away from being a competitive team in the AFC West very soon.
