Jimmy Jacobs worked with WWE as a creative team writer. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, he is no longer with the company. The reasons stem from a photo he took with the Bullet Club during their “invasion” in Ontario, California.

WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs is no longer with the company. That news comes to us from Pro Wrestling Sheet, who reported Jacobs’ exit on Wednesday. According to the report, Jacobs’ departure stems from a stunt that didn’t go over too well with WWE officials. That being Bullet Club’s “invasion” of WWE.

The “invasion” occurred a few weeks ago in Ontario, California. Before an episode of Monday Night Raw, members of the Bullet Club flocked fans over to them. He took a picture with members of Bullet Club while this was going on. Which, in hindsight, is probably a move he should not have made. Pictured are Marty Scuril and The Young Bucks, who recently felt the wrath of WWE. The company issued The Bucks a cease and desist order. It was due, in large part, to the usage of the “Too Sweet” gesture they commonly use.

Whether they fired Jacobs or not is currently unclear. Heat was on him after the photo was taken, according to the report.

It should come as no surprise that Jacobs is now in the crossfire. WWE definitely doesn’t want personnel members hanging around people they’re going after in court. And they probably don’t want him hanging around people who were, in essence, trolling the company. Especially when you consider that he publicized it.

He is probably friendly with all the members of The Bullet Club. He wrestled in Ring of Honor for quite a while, doing so at the same time as The Bucks and Scuril. But in this case, it’s really hard to not understand why this happened.
