2. San Francisco 49ers (+11) at Washington Redskins

Let’s be real. There are a lot of big numbers with this week’s lines. Most of the teams that are favored by a wide margin should clobber their respective inferior opponent. Atlanta over Miami would be a perfect example of this.

However, there is one game where the favorite is getting way too many points. That would be the Washington Redskins at home versus the San Francisco 49ers. Take the 49ers getting 11 points and here is why. The 49ers are the best 0-5 team in the league.

Since Week 1’s laugher versus the Carolina Panthers, the 49ers have dropped their last four games by a combined 11 points, the same amount they will be getting from the Redskins. Sure, the Redskins are coming off a bye, but there’s more to this game than meets the eye.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan used to be the offensive coordinator for the Redskins. He and his father former Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan drafted quarterback Kirk Cousins out of Michigan State in 2012. This game is personal for Shanahan since things ended poorly in Washington. The 49ers will fall to 0-6, but it will be a one-score game for sure.
