Week 6 of NFL Color Rush features an intriguing matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers. What will the uniforms look like for each team?

It’s always a great to end the work week with Thursday Night Football. It’s even better when the game features an exciting matchup, which is exactly what we’ve got in Week 6.

Thursday night, the Philadelphia Eagles (4-1) head to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers (4-1) in a showdown between two of the top teams in the NFC right now. The game kicks off from Bank of America Stadium at 8:25 p.m. ET.

Let’s take a look at the Color Rush uniforms for both teams on Thursday night.

There was confusion this week surrounding the Eagles Color Rush uniforms. Many thought the Eagles would wear the same all-black uniforms, but that’s not the case. The team’s Twitter account announced that they’ll be wearing all-white uniforms on the road tomorrow night.

It really isn’t much of a Color Rush uniform and very similar to their regular home whites. It’s not anything special and a more conservative look than most Color Rush uniforms we’ve seen this year. Personally, I like the uniforms from last year much better, but I can’t be mad either way.

On the other hand, the Panthers are going with a much brighter look. They’re embracing the true Color Rush theme and breaking out the powder blue uniforms.

It doesn’t compare to the throwback Chargers look, but really cool uniforms nonetheless. If a team is going to wear all of one color, blue is one of the best ways to go.

With all the criticism Thursday Night Football gets, this is the second week in a row with a great matchup. Both the Eagles and Panthers have been extremely impressive through the first five weeks of the season and are playing with high playoff aspirations.
