With the release of the Week 8 AP Top 25, which college football teams won and lost in the newest poll?

Has this been the craziest week of college football yet? Heading into Week 7, if you were to look at the slate of games, you’d likely be disappointed. There weren’t any ranked matchups and the upset alert looked fairly light. College football’s elite had to hit the road, in some instances, but the top teams were facing beatable foes.

For example, Clemson began the week by hitting the road to take on Syracuse. It seemed like it’d be an easy win for the defending national champs, but the Tigers fell to the Orange, 27-24.

That same night, Washington State fell victim to the upset bug as the Cal Golden Bears molly-whopped the No. 8 Cougars. The undefeated season for Mike Leach and Co. was effectively ended and the Bears came away with a 37-3 upset win at home.

The upsets didn’t stop there, though, as two more top-10 teams faltered in Week 7. Washington fell, on the road, and Auburn couldn’t find a way to beat LSU. There were plenty of shakeups in the new release of the AP Top 25, starting at the top.

Obviously Alabama remained No. 1 after downing Arkansas in impressive fashion, but who rose and who dropped enough to be considered a winner or loser?

Take a look at the biggest winners and losers from this week’s release of the AP Poll.
