The college football season is rolling right along and here are the five best postgame quotes from coaches in Week 7.

Can you believe we are entering the eighth week of college football? We are officially past the halfway point in the season and teams are starting to establish themselves as national title contenders while others have completely dropped out of the rankings and look to be searching for answers.

Being a coach in the college game can’t be easy and it’s evident each week in post-game press conferences. Coaches are drilled with tough questions and even the slightest slip-up of wordage can lead to outrage from fans and members of the media.

However, there are some coaches who always seem to say the right things and/or always keep things interesting. Those off-script coaches are the best when it comes to post-game quotes because they are unpredictable and real. Which five coaches had the best quotes from Week 7, though?

The usual suspects seem to be providing the best quote material each week, so we tried to mix in a couple of new faces. Still, there were some interesting quotes from college football’s top coaches who have appeared on this list week after week which we couldn’t rule out.
