As you enter FanDuel contests for Week 6, here is a lineup to consider deploying.

As usual, let’s look at the results from Week 5 before I show my FanDuel lineup for Week 6 .

Quarterback: Philip Rivers-21.82 points
Running Backs: Le’Veon Bell-14.3 points, Frank Gore-10.1 points
Wide Receivers: Jordy Nelson-9.4 points, Dez Bryant-13.7 points, DeVante Parker-1.1 points
Tight End: Antonio Gates-3.3 points
Kicker: Jake Elliott-10 points
Defense: Detroit Lions-3 points

Rivers worked out nicely here, but little else did. Parker left his game early with an ankle injury, and the Nelson/Bryant combo in the same game didn’t fulfill its upside. Bell disappointed as the entire Steelers’ offense fell short, and the Lions’ defense struggled to stop Cam Newton and the Panthers’ offense.

To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS NFL coverage head over to the fantasy football hub where each day you can find a post like this tailored for DraftKings as well as one specifically designed for usage on FanDuel.  In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to FanDuel scoring system and salaries. Looking to get back into at least a little bit of money, here’s my FanDuel lineup for Week 6 (Sunday only contests).

Quarterback: Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins-$7,800

Over his first four games this season, Cousins only topped 250 passing yards once. But he did have multiple passing touchdowns in both games heading into a Week 5 bye (five total), ad now a nice matchup against the San Francisco 49ers is coming in Week 6.

The 49ers enter the week 26th in the league in pass defense (249.8 yards per game), with at least 292 yards allowed through the air in three straight games. The quarterbacks who have done that against them? Jared Goff, Carson Palmer and Jacoby Brissett. There’s a strong argument Cousins is better than all three.

Cousins looks like a solid DFS value this week, at 100 percent health coming off a bye with a favorable matchup. I’ll bet you’ll “like that” when choosing a FanDuel quarterback for Week 6.
