In an NFC North matchup on Sunday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers will head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings with first place on the line.

The Green Bay Packers went into Dallas and pulled out a huge NFC victory this past weekend, as Aaron Rodgers once again found a way to rip the hearts out of the chest of Cowboys fans everywhere. On Sunday, they will hit the road again, and this time they will be trying to gain another game on the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North. The Vikings won an NFC North game of their own this past Monday night, beating Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears in the rookie’s first start, and will now look to make it two in a row against the Pack.

Unfortunately for Minnesota, Rodgers is playing on another level right now, and it is going to be very hard to keep him down for four quarters. The Vikings got a nice effort out of Jerick McKinnon at running back against the Bears, and will need to utilize him to control the clock in this one. If the Packers get rolling on offense, this one could get ugly, so the game plan has to be to grind it out and try to get some stops on third down if they want to come away with the victory in front of the home crowd.

The Packers are one of the elite teams in the NFC this season, and they just may be too much for the Vikings in this one. The Vikings struggled to put away the Chicago Bears on Monday night, and will now have to face Aaron Rodgers on a short week. Their defense will keep them in it early, but Rodgers will eventually find a way to make big plays against Harrison Smith and that strong Vikings secondary.
