Trail Blazers at Suns live stream: How to watch online
By John Buhler
The Phoenix Suns will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. Here is how to watch this Western Conference NBA game online via live streaming.
The 2017-18 NBA season has arrived. There will be 11 games on the schedule for Wednesday night, including 20 teams that will be making their season debuts. Two of those teams will be the Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns.
Tipoff from Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix will be at 10:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 18. NBC Sports Northwest will have the Trail Blazers telecast in the Greater Portland area. FOX Sports Arizona will carry the Suns telecast in the Greater Phoenix area. The available live streams can be found on NBA League Pass and on FuboTV.
Portland looks to be a team that will be contending for a playoff spot in the ultra-competitive Northwest Division. That division could theoretically send all five teams to the playoffs should the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves join the party. Portland is not one of the four best teams in the West, but certainly one of the nine or 10 best teams in the conference.
Phoenix is not expected to reach the Western Conference playoffs last year. The Suns had the worst record in the West a year ago. They could be a team on the rise in 2017-18, depending on how shooting guard Devin Booker develops. Phoenix looks to be a lottery team yet again, albeit an interesting one coming out of the Pacific Division.

Phoenix getting points at home makes sense. Portland is the better of the two teams, but not enough to make for a larger spread. With Portland shooting guard CJ McCollum suspended for the first game, this could be a reason that this line is so close to a pick ’em. This could be a game that Phoenix could steal from the Trail Blazers. However, it might just be a game where Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard goes off, knowing he won’t have McCollum to share the ball with.
