Fake Klay Thompson quickly rose to fame on Opening Night, but fake James Harden may be giving him a run for his money.

The Sacramento Kings began their season last night against the Houston Rockets. The Kings certainly knew coming into the game that they would have a tough time containing the Rockets’ star James Harden. Fake James Harden made an appearance in Sacramento, and kept the fake player appearance tradition alive. One Harden is difficult enough to worry about, but what about two?!

We were lucky to see fake Klay Thompson on Tuesday night, but now there’s another impersonator out there who has certainly brought his A-game to this competition. The Kings surprisingly gave the Rockets a run for their money last night as well, keeping the game close throughout its entirety. However, the Rockets were able to edge them out in the end, winning by a score of 105-100. Houston moves to 2-0 on the season, after they came out on top against the defending champs on Tuesday night.

Although Harden hasn’t shot particularly well from the field to start the season off, he has still managed to score 27 points in each of his teams games thus far. He has also contributed his typically solid assist and rebounding numbers, continuing to prove he is worthy of being an MVP candidate once again. Houston doesn’t play again until Saturday, where they will be taking on the Dallas Mavericks at home for the first time this season. Last season the bearded superstar averaged 26.5 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds in four games against the cross-town rival Mavericks. He seems poised to continue that trend against them, and will look to put up another exceptional year as Houston looks to make a deep playoff run this season.
