Yes, there really are 13 nights of programming in Freeform’s annual seasonal celebration, and here’s what’s on each night.

Where do you turn if you love Halloween but don’t want to get into movies that are too scary or gory? To Freeform, of course, for its 13 Nights of Halloween.

This year’s slate kicks off on Oct. 19 (so that the 13th night actually falls on Halloween, naturally) and includes movies for all ages and tastes. Some of them are films that come with natural Halloween connotations like Hocus Pocus and Spooky Buddies. Others are perennial favorites like the Addams Family movies, and still others really have nothing to do with the holiday at all but still are kind of spooky in parts like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

In any case, it’s a go to stop for the season, especially for families, and the good news is that it isn’t just nights in the 13 Nights of Halloween either, with programming starting as early as 7 a.m. on some days.
