Heading into Week 7 of the NFL regular season, teams have to start winning games. These five teams need a win more than anyone this week.

Nearing the halfway point of the 2017 NFL season and reality is starting to set in for many teams. While there are plenty of teams still in the mix, we start to see some separation from the good and the bad.

At this stage of the season, wins start to become crucial. Division and playoff races start to heat up and every loss is another step backward. A loss isn’t the be-all-end-all, but it puts teams in a tough position going forward. Heading into Week 7, some teams need wins a lot more than others.

Here are five teams that are desperate for a win this week.

5. Green Bay Packers

No Aaron Rodgers poses huge problems for the Green Bay Packers. Looking like legitimate Super Bowl contenders through the first five weeks of the season changed with a single hit that left Rodgers with a broken collarbone. Now, the Packers are desperate to stay afloat.

Confident with who they’ve got in-house, third-year quarterback Brett Hundley will make his first career start on Sunday. He comes up against a Saints team that are winners of three straight and trending upward on both sides of the ball. This definitely isn’t the easiest first start Hundley could ask for, but he doesn’t have a choice.

This is a must-win for the Packers to show they can still compete without Rodgers. I’m not sure they’re any good without him, but we’ll certainly find that out on Sunday. A 4-1 record gives the Packers some cushion, but they’ll have to put together a heck of a run to finish out the season if they want to make the playoffs.

The confidence isn’t high in Green Bay, but that could all change with a win. Hundley and company will look to do that come Sunday backed behind the Lambeau crowd.
