Aaron Judge used all of his height on Saturday night to rob the Astros of a home run in Game 7.

When it’s Game 7 of the ALCS, you have to exhaust all options to make sure your team gets the win and doesn’t have to go home for the offseason earlier than you want. This means that you have to go 100 percent on every play, using all the physical tools you have to keep your squad in the hunt for a championship. When you’re someone like New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, one of your biggest tools is your impressive height, as the MVP candidate stands 6-foot-7.

Well, on Saturday night as the Yankees are taking on the Houston Astros in Game 7 of the ALCS with the right to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series on the line, Judge used all he had to get up and rob the Astros of a run.

When a laser was shot into right field that surely would have been a homer on many occasions, Judge chased it down and then got right up there to snag the ball and make sure the Yankees did not go down early in this one.

Now, the YES Network might be using a bit of hyperbole in this tweet to describe this as one of the greatest catches you’ll ever see, but hey, it is the Yankees’ own channel, so you have to give them a bit of a break here.

Judge has struggled at times with his bat in these playoffs, especially on the road, but here in Game 7, he’s stepping up in any way that he can to help lead his team to the World Series. On this play, he provided one of the best web gems we’ll see this entire MLB postseason.
