Week 8 of college football sets up to be another interesting weekend. One of the many games taking place will be Louisville vs. Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, FL. It’s a matchup of two ACC teams that haven’t played up to expectations.

Florida State lost quarterback Deondre Francois in the season opener, which contributed to the team’s quick tailspin. They lost the opener to Alabama, had a game postponed, another one canceled and finished the four-week stretch with another loss.

Since then, the Seminoles have won two of the past three games, with a four-point loss to Miami as their only downfall. However, the latest game was a victory over Duke, 17-10. This featured 228 rushing yards from FSU, along with a strong defensive performance to limit the Blue Devils to one touchdown.

Louisville was expected to be a top team in college football, but already has three losses, two of which came in the past three games. They lost to Boston College, 45-42, in their latest matchup. The Eagles only had 191 passing yards but ran for 364 and five touchdowns. The Cardinals didn’t have a shabby running game, either, with 293 yards and four touchdowns. It all wasn’t enough, however, even with LaMar Jackson’s 500-plus yards from scrimmage.
