It’s already Week 8 of the 2017 college football season. One game going on in The American on Saturday afternoon will be the one between the SMU Mustangs (4-2) and the Cincinnati Bearcats (2-5).
Kickoff from Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati will be at 4:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 21. ESPN U will have the telecast. The available live streams can be found on WatchESPN and on FuboTV.
SMU enters play at 4-2 (1-1) on the season. The Mustangs are knocking on the door of being ranked this season. They are 1-1 in AAC play. SMU has a conference win over the UConn Huskies but a loss to the Houston Cougars. Chad Morris has his program certainly going in the right direction.
Cincinnati is not having a good year on the college football gridiron. The Bearcats enter play at 2-5 (0-3) on the season. Cincinnati has dropped all three of its conference games this year to the Navy Midshipmen, the UCF Knights and the South Florida Bulls. The Bearcats are running out of games to fight for bowl eligibility.
