It’s already Week 8 of the 2017 college football season. One game going on in The American on Saturday afternoon will be the one between the SMU Mustangs (4-2) and the Cincinnati Bearcats (2-5).
Kickoff from Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati will be at 4:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 21. ESPN U will have the telecast. The available live streams can be found on WatchESPN and on FuboTV.
SMU enters play at 4-2 (1-1) on the season. The Mustangs are knocking on the door of being ranked this season. They are 1-1 in AAC play. SMU has a conference win over the UConn Huskies but a loss to the Houston Cougars. Chad Morris has his program certainly going in the right direction.
Cincinnati is not having a good year on the college football gridiron. The Bearcats enter play at 2-5 (0-3) on the season. Cincinnati has dropped all three of its conference games this year to the Navy Midshipmen, the UCF Knights and the South Florida Bulls.
