Someone stole JuJu Smith-Schuster’s bicycle, and Antonio Brown will give tickets to those who return it safely.

On Twitter Tuesday, Antonio Brown tweeted out a picture of Juju Smith-Schuster posing next to a bicycle that we learned was recently stolen from him, forcing him to walk to practice. Brown, the great teammate that he is, then openly offered two tickets to a Steelers home game if Smith-Schuster’s bike was returned to the Steelers facility.

With thousands of likes and retweets, this post is more likely to be seen than not by the potential bicycle thieves. Imagine what could be going through the minds of the humans who snatched that bike. Did they know it was a professional football player’s property? If they do end up hearing word of this offer, will they be able to sacrifice their pride and image for those tickets? I guess it depends on if the thieves are fans of the Steelers.

Regardless, we will have to pay close attention to how this story plays out. The bicycle will probably be returned, but will the perpetrators do it publicly or in the dead of night?

The internet has successfully returned stolen property before but I can’t remember how things go with such a public appeal and reward. A bike stolen from an NFL player is certainly a headline I haven’t heard before.

In the wake of all that has been going on between Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, Martavis Bryant and the rest of the team, hopefully if the bike is returned safely it will be a harbinger for the final stretch of the season. After recent talks between Bryant and media, it seems as if he will be out of Pittsburgh at season’s end, assuming the Steelers don’t end up trading him.
