Jake Plummer Division

16. Jameis Winston (Prev: 18)

Winston was terrific on Sunday, throwing for 384 yards and three touchdowns with an interception. The turnovers (and throws that should lead to turnovers) are still a major problem, but Winston isn’t the reason Tampa Bay is 2-4.

15. Marcus Mariota (Prev: 15)

Everybody thought Mariota would bust out this year, but it hasn’t happened yet. The Titans are a measly 4-3 and Mariota has four touchdowns and the same amount of picks. At some juncture, he has to take the step from good to great for Tennessee to become a contender.

14. Jared Goff (Prev: 14)

Goff continues to improve over the putrid effort we saw last year, and the Rams are benefitting. Lo Angeles is 5-2 while Goff has 1,719 yards, ranking sixth in the league. Sean McVay has made an incredible difference.

13. Derek Carr (Prev: 13)

After five middling games to start the season, Carr exploded on Thursday night against the Chiefs, throwing for 417 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 11 on the season. If Carr keeps playing anywhere near that level, Oakland is dangerous.
