2018 NFL Mock Draft: Browns select another QB No. 1
By Brad Weiss
The Denver Broncos have been downright bad over the last two weeks, and you have to wonder what is going on in the Mile High city. A week after being embarrassed on national television by the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, the Broncos traveled to Carson, California to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. The team played even worse in that game, as they were shutout by the Bolts, and their young quarterback took another beating.
This offensive line is pretty bad for Denver, and with their top pick next year, they should look to bring in some talent up front on offense. Luckily for them, there are a bunch of good offensive tackles in this draft class, including Orlando Brown from Oklahoma. Brown has been a constant for a Sooners line that has helped Baker Mayfield be a fixture at the Heisman Trophy presentation over the past few seasons.
First-year head coach Vance Joseph is struggling right now, and with Trevor Siemian playing banged up, they may have to go to 2016 first round pick, Paxton Lynch under center. No matter who is playing quarterback, they have to run for their lives, and the running game is also suffering. The Broncos look like the worst team in the division on the offensive side of the ball, and even their elite defense can’t seem to help this team get into the win column at this point.
