Report: The Rock told Nia Jax to walk if she was unhappy with WWE

Nia Jax reportedly walked away from WWE recently, and it seems her very famous cousin had something to do with it

Last week, word started making the rounds that WWE superstar Nia Jax was the latest worker to walk away from the company due to unhappiness with her future. This rumor coming right on the heels of former Cruiserweight Champion Neville reportedly walking away after being told he would have to drop another match to Enzo Amore.

To this point, Jax’s absence — she has not been on Raw the last two weeks — was being reported as simply a “leave of absence” with no real reasoning being given as to why she would take such a drastic measure.

Well, now some more light is being shed on the situation, and it just so happens that her cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, had a little hand in what recently went down between Nia Jax and WWE.

According to Sports Illustrated, Jax was very much not happy with being told to lose to Sasha Banks clean at the recent TLC pay-per-view. From there, she called The Rock to ask for his advice on the matter, and he didn’t really pull any punches with his family. He reportedly told her that if she was unhappy with her current situation, then she should just walk away. Apparently, that’s what she did.

When word of Jax’s walkout started to surface, many did wonder how this might affect the company’s relationship with one of their greatest stars of all time in The Rock. With this new report of what went down, now that question needs to be asked more than it was last week when this all started.

Jax has been rumored to make her way back to the company in time for the November European Tour, so we’ll have to keep an eye on that as well.
