1. Never doubt Kershaw in the postseason ever again

Clayton Kershaw is a study in polar opposites. The only runs he has allowed in the postseason have come in the form of home runs, including Alex Bregman’s solo shot in Game 1 of the World Series. Of the seven postseason home runs he has allowed, six were solo shots that didn’t inflict too much damage because in every case the Dodgers pulled off the win.

On the other hand, home runs aside, Kershaw has been putting up some fantastic numbers and his performance was another example of his stellar work even with the home run. Kershaw saw seven innings of work in Game 1. He allowed three hits with 11 strikeouts after facing 24 batters. He was throwing strikes effortlessly despite the heat and the excitement of the moment, which again proves why Kershaw is a force to be reckoned with.
