DraftKings NFL 2017: Week 8 lineup
By Joe Romano
Week 8 of the NFL season is upon us. That means there are only nine more weeks for you to win some money on DraftKings!
Week 8 of the NFL season is here. This is one of the rare weeks with a lot of teams on bye weeks. There are six teams not playing this week. Those teams are the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants.
Before jumping into the DraftKings lineup questions for Week 8, let’s look back on Week 7. Overall it was one of the lowest scoring performances in the NFL in the last ten years. The Chicago Bears won a game off two defensive touchdowns and a quarterback completing less than five passes. The Titans and Browns did not score a touchdown in their overtime game. Denver, Indianapolis and Arizona all failed to score a single point. It was a tough week for fantasy owners.

Unfortunately, my line up did not place in the money even with the highest scoring player on the team.
QB: Tyrod Taylor 20.02
RB: Ezekiel Elliott 43.90
RB: Joe Mixon 9.80
WR: Michael Thomas 15.20
WR: Davante Adams 3.20
WR: Bennie Fowler 9.50
TE: Austin Seferian-Jenkins 11.10
FLEX: Jerick McKinnon 8.70
D/ST: New Orleans Saints 4.00
The low scoring week in the NFL hit my lineup hard. Only Tyrod Taylor, Ezekiel Elliott and Austin Seferian-Jenkins found the endzone. The wide receivers and McKinnon were massive disappointments while the Saints failed to put up defensive points despite only allowing 17 points.
