Week 8 of the NFL season is here. Week 8 presents a unique challenge for fantasy football players. Here are ten matchups to help you this week.
As the NFL enters Week 8, it officially marks the middle of the season. Coming off one of the lowest scoring weeks in the NFL in the past 10 years, teams will look to rebound.
Week 7 was positive in one way for fantasy football owners. It felt like the first week of the season a big name player did not go down (sorry Carson Palmer).
However, Week 7 also gave fantasy owners more questions. Is Amari Cooper back? Does Palmer’s injury kill Larry Fitzgerald’s fantasy value? Will the Falcons offense ever get on track?
Week 8 has a ton of juicy matchups for fantasy football players to take advantage of. The slate of games, including another early London game, features a lot of bad defenses against good offenses a.k.a. fantasy gold.
This week is also a week featuring six teams on bye. Those teams are the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, and Los Angeles Rams.
There are relevant fantasy players that will be on your bench this week because of the bye. If you are a Jaguars defense owner, you will also be looking for a replacement. A tough decision will have to be made because they’re one of the few defenses I’d hold on to during their bye week.

For both the Titans and Jaguars it gives the team’s top running back an extra week to get healthy. DeMarco Murray and Leonard Fournette are nursing injuries and could use this week off.
