World Series 2017: What time does Game 5 start?
With the 2017 World Series tied at two wins each, the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers look to Game 5 for a chance to take the lead.
After an explosive 9th inning for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the 2017 World Series, the Dodgers tied the series with two wins apiece and forced a Game 6 in Los Angeles on Halloween. With the series knotted, all eyes are on Game 5 as the Astros and Dodgers both look to leave Houston with the lead.
The Astros got on the board first in Game 4 with a George Springer solo shot in the 6th inning and the Dodgers tied it up in the top of the 7th when Logan Forsythe had an RBI single to score Cody Bellinger. Then, in the 9th inning, Cody Bellinger and Austin Barnes drove in runs and Joc Pederson added a 3-run homer to give the Dodgers a 6-1 lead.
Alex Bregman gave the Astros another run with a solo homer in the 9th, but this game belonged to the Dodgers as they claimed victory with a decisive 6-2 win.
If you’re looking to watch the most important game of the 2017 World Series, you’ll find that Game 5 starts at 8pm ET and will air on FOX along with all of the pre- and post-game coverage we have come to expect.
