Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, and the New Orleans Pelicans don’t find haunted houses as enjoyable as playing basketball.

Anthony Davis loves Halloween and haunted houses. Cycle decided to see how much Davis loves haunted houses by taking him, DeMarcus Cousins, and other members of the New Orleans Pelicans to RISE Haunted House in Hammond, Louisiana.

Here are the results, courtesy of Cycle:

Now Davis and Cousins know how opposing post players feel when they see the Pelicans on the schedule. For someone who claims to love haunted houses, Davis sure got out of there fast. It’s understandable that he’d run from a guy chasing him with a chainsaw, but how could he leave Cousins behind like that? The buddy system is broken in New Orleans.

It looks worse when you watch the beginning of the video and see Cousins say, “I got you, man” while trying to calm a nervous Davis. This is video evidence that Cousins is a good teammate and that, maybe it’s the people around him that are the problem.

Granted, Cousins gets frustrated as Davis keeps grabbing him for comfort, but that doesn’t warrant leaving the man in a house with a chainsaw-wielding lunatic and the undead.

Fortunately, for the Pelicans and Davis, Cousins was found. Unfortunately, for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the rest of the NBA, Cousins was found.

Let this be a lesson for all you 7-foot NBA players out there. You may think you’re the baddest man in the building and you may have a shirt that says as much. But when you’re trapped inside a house where walls move, dead people appear out of nowhere, and someone with a chainsaw sees you as a large tree; you’re just like the rest of us.
