NFL quarterback rankings, Week 9: Russell Wilson dominates
Norm Van Brocklin Division
12. Kirk Cousins (Prev: 11)
Cousins had to be devastated by the Jimmy Garoppolo trade to the San Francisco 49ers. Now, Cousins has to be wondering where he’ll end up in 2018. Right now, he still looks good with 1,900 passing yards and 13 touchdowns.
11. Matt Ryan (Prev: 10)
Ryan threw three touchdowns on Sunday in a win over the New York Jets, which doesn’t sound impressive until you realize the game was played in a downpour. If the Falcons are going to make a run, they need Ryan to be terrific.
10. Matthew Stafford (Prev: 9)
Stafford has 1,851 passing yards and 12 touchdowns, and he’d probably have more if his receivers could catch, and if Jim Caldwell understood what calling plays in the red zone entails.
9. Ben Roethlisberger (Prev: 8)
Roethlisberger’s stats from Sunday night showed a solid game. The actual tape showed a quarterback that has some bad trends, and an arm that looks old. He’s still dangerous, but there’s some slippage.
