In an NFC North battle on Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions will head to legendary Lambeau field to take on the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers will get another look at quarterback Brett Hundley this week, and they will be hosting the Detroit Lions after having last week off. That time should have been spent getting Hundley up to speed, as there is no way he could have expected Aaron Rodgers to go down for the season. The Lions are going to come into this one fired up, as a win moves them into a tie with the Pack for second place in the NFC North.

The Lions looked like a contender early on, as they got out to a 3-1 start to  the season. However, they have lost three straight since, and are desperately looking to get back into the win column. Matthew Stafford has done a nice job minimizing the interceptions this season, but this team needs to get it going on the ground if they want to really challenge in an NFC North that has the Minnesota Vikings sitting at 6-2.

Can Green Bay get it going with Rodgers? That is going to be the big question on Monday night, but the kid has had a ton of  time to prepare for the Lions. He did score a touchdown with his legs in his first NFL start, so it is possible the Packers work that aspect of his game into the gameplan. Lambeau is going to be rocking on Monday night, so this one has the opportunity to be a nice capper to the Week 9 slate.
