Fantasy football is all about exploiting matchups while figuring out who to plug into your lineup. Week 9 of the NFL season features some great matchups for you to attack with your fantasy team.

The NFL season is officially at the half-way point. Week 8 saw some wild and crazy fantasy performances. The best came via the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans shoot out. This week it will be a challenge to top that, but there are games out there that could.

The league’s trade deadline was Tuesday October 31st and it was an action packed one. There were a few fantasy relevant trades.

First off Jay Ajayi was shipped to the Philadelphia Eagles to boost that already potent offense. Kelvin Benjamin was shipped by the Carolina Panthers to the Buffalo Bills to give quarterback Tyrod Taylor some assistance in the air. Finally, Jimmy Garropolo was sent from New England to San Francisco and should stabilize the 49ers passing attack a bit.

Those trades should have little impact in Week 9. However, there are still some matchups that are exploitable from a fantasy perspective.

Week 9 is another week with six teams on a bye. Those teams are the Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Those are some high powered offenses and useful fantasy players.
