Two Nashville Predators miss the team bus after dinner in Los Angeles on Sunday night. It was a night off for the team on a long road trip.

There are only a few simple rules when you are traveling as a group. Having spent many a day traveling with bands, you learn that when it is time for the bus to leave, you are either on it or you’re left behind. Apparently, nobody told two Nashville Predators players on Sunday night.

While on an extended road trip, the Predators stayed an extra day in Los Angeles. Winning two games in back-to-back nights, including an overtime thriller against the LA Kings, the Predators needed some downtime. Of course, that meant eating dinner together. On the menu last night was Catch LA, a rooftop seafood restaurant. After the nice meal, a few drinks, and time with the fella’s, the team departed and loaded the bus.

Well, most of the team did.

So, we don’t see the faces of the players running for the bus, but we do know a few that allegedly made it. Ryan Johansen, Pekka Rinna, and P.K. Subban — the hat gives it away — are all seen walking to the open doors. So is Cody McLeod. Sigh.

The hecklers out there do a fair job of messing with the team, but Rinne is just laughing it up. The line about an NFL player being suspended for a game for missing a team photo is a nice touch. I guess we will have to wait and see the scratches from the Predators next game, which is tomorrow in Columbus.

All reports are every player made the plane, so that is good.

After a long weekend, and a major trade, it is good to see the guy enjoying their time. Just, don’t miss the bus again.
