Bledsoe to the Bucks
Since Eric Bledsoe claimed his “I Dont wanna to be here” tweet was about his experiences in a hair salon, he has not suited up for the Phoenix Suns. In his place, Phoenix is starting 27-year-old rookie Mike James.
James is actually holding his own fairly well given the conditions, but the Suns’ entire point guard rotation is basically him and Tyler Ulis thanks to Brandon Knight missing the entirety of the season with a torn ACL and Bledsoe being on an indefinite timeout.
The Suns could use some help at the position. Enter Milwaukee, who could offer both Matthew Dellavedova and Malcolm Brogdon as a potential solution. Brogdon, the reigning Rookie of the Year, has looked better than ever so far this season. Delly isn’t great, but he’s solid depth and not terribly expensive.
Rashad Vaughn and Davon Reed, who is also out for the season, are throw-ins for salary purposes. Maybe Milwaukee attaches a draft pick of some sort, maybe not. There are lots of subtle twists that could be made to this deal, but getting Giannis Antetokounmpo some help after his Bucks have dropped three straight would be nice.
