These 15 college basketball coaches will need to turn in a successful 2017-18 season to save their jobs.

After one of the craziest college basketball coaching carousels in recent memory, don’t expect a lot of turnover among top-tier programs in 2017-18.

A whopping 47 teams made coaching changes during the 2017 offseason, including many power conference members that were long overdue. The big news was the Indiana Hoosiers dismissing Tom Crean in favor of Archie Manning, who was finally pried away from Dayton.

Thad Matta also announced his surprise retirement, and Ohio State was able to grab Chirs Holtmann from Butler, which turned to former player and assistant LaVall Jordan. NC State also made a nice up-and-coming hire with Kevin Keatts out of UNC-Wilmington, while LSU will surely get an upgrade with VCU’s Will Wade over Johnny Jones.

The carousel was still going well into October, as Louisville’s Rick Pitino was fired after being implicated in the corruption scandal that will have a huge impact on the sport this season and beyond. Other big-name coaches could follow with schools like Arizona and Miami being implicated by the FBI, but everyone appears safe for the time being with the season just days away.

Coupled with a busy 2016 offseason in coaching moves, there aren’t too many power conference coaches in danger of losing their jobs this year. Even so, three coaches from the ACC are beginning to feel the pressure, while two apiece from the SEC and Big Ten might be considering changes.

Here are 15 college basketball coaches who enter the 2017-18 season on the hot seat.
