After another winning week with the five best bets in Week 9, let’s turn our attention to pick the five best games against the spread in the NFL in Week 10.

Week 9 was a very strange week in the NFL for sure. Two different NFC teams hung over half a hundred points on their opponent in a football game. You’re darn right one of those games was my best bet last week. The Los Angeles Rams laying 3.5 points against a team with a lot of quit in them in the New York Giants was easy money.

Overall, I went 3-2 with my five best bets in Week 9. Coming through for me were the Rams, the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Getting the Ravens at +4.5 was crucial in this game, as they were able to get the backdoor cover on the Tennessee Titans to lose by only a field goal. That Jacksonville defense is amazing, as the Jaguars were able to cover the two points they were laying to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Not helping me out were the Atlanta Falcons and the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though I got Atlanta getting 1.5 points on the road in Charlotte, the Falcons lost to their division rival Carolina Panthers by a field goal. At least it wasn’t as bad as the 11-point beat down the Chiefs suffered to the Dallas Cowboys during the 4:00 p.m. ET time slot. That point Kansas City was getting from Dallas didn’t matter.

Ideally, I’d love to get a week here where I go 4-1, maybe even a perfect 5-0. That way, I can get over the 60 percent threshold for best bets this season. The awful 1-3-1 week a few weeks back hasn’t helped. With four teams on bye in Week 10, let’s pick the five best bets with the 14 games I have to choose from this week. Lines are from OddsShark.

Cincinnati Bengals (+5) at Tennessee Titans

While it was risky to pick the Ravens getting points on the road against the Titans after a blowout victory over the Miami Dolphins 10 days prior, I don’t think the Titans are good enough to lay more than three points at home unless they are playing a rancid football team.

Though the Bengals aren’t going anywhere but in the top-10 of the 2018 NFL Draft, I like them getting five points on the road in Nashville this week. Cincinnati is coming off a bad loss to Jacksonville in North Florida. Seeing A.J. Green get ejected for his fight with Jalen Ramsey has to be frustrating. It was an embarrassing effort by the Bengals in Week 9.

I like for them to give a better effort in Week 10 with their backs against the wall. Essentially one more loss knocks the Bengals out of the AFC playoff picture. This will be the third straight AFC South team the Bengals will have faced. They beat the Cleveland Browns at home by a point in Week 8 and were thrashed by Jacksonville on the road in Week 9.

Though the Titans hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over rival Jacksonville in AFC South play, the Jaguars are the most formidable team in the AFC South. Everybody outside of the Music City knows that. Cincinnati isn’t going to win this game, but look for the Bengals to lose by a field goal or less on Sunday afternoon in Nashville.
