With the weather getting colder, the NFL playoff race are beginning to heat up. We have a few contests this weekend that could shape January.

I’m coming off my first losing week since Week 3, so we have to bounce back (really, I have to bounce back) in a big way. Despite some very intriguing games that could go either way, I feel confident that I won’t let you down. Let’s get it…

Seattle Seahawks (-5.5) at Arizona Cardinals

The Seahawks (5-3) have to find a way to win this game after brutal loss to the decimated Redskins. Meanwhile, the Cardinals (4-4) could somehow pull into second place in the NFC West with a win. Still, can’t pick Drew Stanton to beat the Legion of Boom.

Pick: Seattle 23, Arizona 21

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans (-4.5)

There is nothing exciting about this game. The Titans (5-3) have shown no ability to move the ball more than a yard per play, while the Bengals (3-5) continue to look lost with Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis at the helm. Give me the marginally better team at home.

Pick: Tennessee 20, Cincinnati 16

Cleveland Browns at Detroit Lions (-12.5)

The Browns (0-8) are not a football team. They might play football, but they are really a collection of soulless men, looking to collect a few more paychecks before being exposed further. Hopefully Hue Jackson enjoys the ride until he gets the pink slip. The Lions (4-4) rolllllllll here.

Pick: Detroit 30, Cleveland 10

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears (-5.5)

This ought to be fun. Nothing says a big NFC clash like Mitchell Trubisky and Brett Hundley. The Bears (3-5) and Packers (4-4) have a long history against each other, and few games will be uglier offensively than this one.

Pick: Chicago 17, Green Bay 13
