Today is Veteran’s Day and several college football teams will be showing their appreciation with special military appreciation uniforms.

Today isn’t just any ordinary college football Saturday. Today is also Veteran’s Day and we honor those who served our country so proudly and offer up our most sincere thank you for their service. One way you’ll see the military appreciation across the country today is with special helmets, cleats and uniforms from various teams across the country.

Below you can find some of the images from teams wearing uniforms to pay their respects to the men and women in the military.

Fittingly, USA, the University of South Alabama, will wear uniforms that pay tribute to all the branches of the military

Florida International is sporting these helmets that have the red, white and blue of the flag.

Louisville is wearing these gold cleats, which I’m sure will look really good on the feet of reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Lamar Jackson.

Minnesota is wearing helmets that will feature names of current military members from the school as well as the graduates who have served. This is a nice added touch to make it a little more personal. I love it.

The color scheme worn by Vanderbilt looks really awesome. The names on the back will be of military members while their branch of service will be presented with a patch on the front. Very cool.

Syracuse is sporting this helmet decal for Military Appreciation Day.

Louisiana Tech is sporting this helmet decal which really pops against the white backdrop.

Troy’s Digi Camo T looks pretty awesome too.

There are sure to be plenty more colleges wearing special uniforms in honor of Military Appreciation Day, so as we see those images, we’ll be sure to add them to this post.
