Ahead of the Miami Hurricanes taking on a huge matchup against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a look at the best College GameDay signs that The U brought.

There are big matchups in college football, and then there are the ones that change the course of the year for everyone on a national level. The Week 11 matchup between the Miami Hurricanes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish undoubtedly falls into the latter category. As such, it wasn’t surprising that’s where ESPN decided to bring College GameDay on Saturday.

Coming into the game, the Hurricanes are unbeaten and actually proved themselves the most they have all year with a win over Virginia Tech last week. However, they still sit at No. 7 in the College Football Playoff poll. That’s important when you consider where the Irish are in the same poll, decided on by the selection committee.

While Miami has no losses, Notre Dame does have one. Yet they sit at the No. 3 spot in the CFP rankings. For those keeping track at home, that means that they would be in if the season ended today. Thus, we’re left with a matchup where Miami can prove themselves worthy and potentially vault into that position, or the Irish could prove that they deserve that ranking.

As you can see, it was a no-brainer for College GameDay to head down south to Miami for this game. However, the question was whether or not The U would show up. As the fans in orange and green have shown time and again, though, they’re loyal and always ready to show out.

That’s what they did on Saturday morning. Let’s take a look at the best College GameDay signs from Miami in Week 11:
