As you enter FanDuel NFL contests for Week 10, here’s a lineup to consider using.
As is my custom, before unveiling my FanDuel NFL lineup for Week 10, let’s look at my results from Week 9.
Quarterback: Jared Goff (28.44 points)
Running Backs: Mark Ingram (8.4 points), Christian McCaffrey (17.9 points)
Wide Receivers: DeAndre Hopkins (17.6 points), Jarvis Landry (12.2 points), Marvin Jones (26.2 points)
Tight End: Jack Doyle (10.3 points)
Kicker: Matt Prater (13 points)
Defense: Philadelphia Eagles (8 points)
This is my best week of the season, with only Ingram standing out as an underachiever. Turns out I picked the wrong Saints running back, as Alvin Kamara delivered 28.2 FanDuel Points against the Buccaneers. Not coincidentally, I won $5 in the $1 contest I used this lineup in. Hopefully you cashed in a little bit too if you deployed this group.
To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS NFL coverage, head over to the fantasy football hub where each week you can find a post like this tailored for DraftKings as well as one specifically designed for usage on FanDuel. In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to FanDuel scoring system (unless otherwise noted) and salaries. Here is my FanDuel lineup for Week 10, which I am using as usual (in a Sunday-only contest).
Quarterback: Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions-$8,200
Stafford dissected the Green Bay Packers defense in Week 9, going 26-for-33 for 361 yards with two touchdowns. He has completed nearly 68 percent of his passes over his last two games, with over 300 yards through the air in three straight contests.
The Cleveland Browns will be coming off a bye in Week 9, and overall they have shown some improvement defensively in recent weeks. But they have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in four of their last five games, to mostly lesser quarterbacks than Stafford (Case Keenum, Josh McCown, Andy Dalton). Adding allowing eight total touchdowns to quarterbacks over their three road games thus far (multiple passing touchdowns twice), and Stafford is set up to keep his good run going.
