The Oklahoma State Cowboys face off against the Iowa State Cyclones in Week 11 Big 12 football action.
This matchup in the Big 12 is one of the most riveting matchups of the entire weekend. Both teams are looking up to both of TCU and Oklahoma in the Big 12 standings. Oklahoma State had playoff aspirations when the season began, and Iowa State was predicted as being near the bottom of the conference. Yet, here we are in Week 11, and both the Cyclones and Cowboys have similar records and can still get into the Big 12 championship.
Mason Rudolph is the driver behind the Cowboys dynamic passing attack this year. Rudolph has already passed for over 3,310 yards and 27 touchdowns. Rudolph is not the only one who can carry this offense, as they also have Justice Hill and James Washington as weapons at Rudolph’s disposal. Justice Hill has over 1,060 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, while Washington has over 1,130 receiving yards and nine touchdowns as well. So, it is safe to say that Rudolph is not the only major player in this great Oklahoma State offense.
While Iowa State has been looked over this year, two of their offensive weapons definitely should not be. David Montgomery is having a fantastic year in the Cyclone offense, as he has over 830 yards rushing and eight touchdowns, and Allen Lazard has over 520 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
