With the release of the Week 12 AP Top 25, which college football teams won and lost in the newest poll?

It seemed as if the entire 2017 college football season was leading up to what Week 11 offered. There were a plethora of ranked matchups and top teams that went down via upset. However, the games that were supposed to go down to the wire ended up being blowouts.

Surprisingly, a number of ranked games ended in lopsided victories. For example, No. 12 Michigan State hit the road to take on No. 13 Ohio State in a battle for the Big Ten East title and the Buckeyes covered a ridiculous 17-point spread, 48-3.

On top of that, No. 6 TCU traveled to No. 5 Oklahoma and came away with a 38-20 loss. Baker Mayfield may have sewn up the Heisman Trophy race in the win.

Miami, the nation’s seventh-ranked team, hosted No. 3 Notre Dame looking to prove the playoff committee wrong for not ranking them higher, and the Hurricanes did just that. In fact, they trampled the Fighting Irish, 41-8.

There were a couple of interesting ranked matchups in the SEC as well, headlined by No. 10 Auburn hosting No. 2 Georgia, per the AP Poll. The Tigers smacked the Bulldogs, 40-17. Alabama, the nation’s top-ranked AP team, went to Starkville to face No. 18 Mississippi State and came away with a close win, 31-24.

There was plenty of movement this week, but who are the biggest winners and losers in the Week 12 AP poll?
