With just four teams on bye this week, it’s an interesting batch of sleeper WR candidates for Week 10.

Week 10 should be a fun week and let’s face it, nothing can be more boring than Week 9 from a real-life football perspective. The games weren’t competitive but on the plus side, we had a solid week with six out of 10 receivers grading out as a hit. Let’s see the results from Week 9. As a reminder, we want to hit 50 yards and/or a touchdown with hopefully five receptions.

  1. DeVante Parker – 5/76/0 – Hit
  2. Randall Cobb – 5/58/0 – Hit
  3. Ryan Grant – 3/39/0 – Miss, Josh Doctson Hit if you picked him
  4. Donte Moncrief – 1/7/0 – Miss
  5. Tyler Lockett – 2/10/0 – Miss
  6. Corey Davis – 2/28/0 – Miss
  7. Jeremy Maclin – 8/98/0 – Hit
  8. Sammy Watkins – 1/67/1 – Hit
  9. Sterling Shepard – 5/70/0 – Hit
  10. Marvin Jones – 7/107/2 – Hit

This was the best week yet, as six out of 10 hit. A couple of those hits were home runs.

On to Week 10.

This is one of the boldest calls of the week as Martavis Bryant is returning from a suspension because he can’t control himself on social media. Throwing a well-liked teammate under the bus like he did to rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster usually doesn’t go over well in a locker room.

Regardless of his past behavior, Pittsburgh is saying all the right things about moving on from the drama and putting their best offense on the field. Make no mistake, whatever the public may think about Bryant’s antics, he is part of the best possible offense for Pittsburgh. He provides a deep threat that gives more room for Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell to do their job.

The Steelers are on the road which is usually a reason for caution. This matchup shouldn’t worry owners too much because the Indianapolis Colts defense is a mess. It’s also possible their locker room was thrown into turmoil after the team released veteran cornerback Vontae Davis earlier this week. Bryant only needs one play to make your week. This is only if you’re in a desperate spot, but a lot of factors are lined up for a big week.
