We went for is and recast some of our favorite basketball movies, to give them a bit of an update.

Film and entertainment has been a pillar of American life for a long time. Within that canon of film there have been many movies made about sports. Some times there were actual professional athletes involved in the process and other times the actors got to show the world what type of player they were.

With the numerous movies made there have been hits and misses admittedly. However, this post will highlight the five of the best basketball films ever made: Blue Chips, He Got Game, Love & Basketball, White Men Can’t Jump, and Teen Wolf. And it will also recast the roles with actors/actresses and athletes of modern times.

Along with the choices will be in-depth breakdowns of why each role was awarded to the particular choice. There is some Oscar-level gold that awaits you in these next slides (completely false) and instead of wasting anymore of your time with silly background information, let’s jump in to this thing head-first!
