These five coaches on the hot seat need a win in the worst way in Week 12.

The pendulum has swung on multiple college football head coaches this season. However, there will be plenty of more coaches on the hot seat that will be losing their jobs very shortly. With Week 12 here, time is all but ran out.

For some coaches, their fate has already been sealed by the tenures of mediocrity that they have bestowed upon their programs. For others, it’s all about one last gasp and hoping they can make a remarkable turnaround.

It feels like next man up at this point and that’s simply because it is. Excuses have ran out and now coaches will face the music. These five head coaches need a win in Week 12 if they’re going to save their jobs.

5. David Beaty

The Kansas Jayhawks are just two losses away from finishing the season 1-11. It’s been yet another horrendous season for the program and David Beaty can’t justify any progress at this point.

Yes, he did take on a bad situation. However, there has been zero sign of growth over three years. It’s not even as if they’ve been winning three games a year at least either. They’ve won three games total in his tenure.

With the two Oklahoma schools left on the schedule, they’ll likely finish with one single win on the season. That would push him to 3-33 in his career with the Jayhawks. It’s going to be hard to justify keeping a job after that.
