The Oakland Raiders will take on the New England Patriots on Sunday in Mexico City, Mexico, and it should certainly be a good one.

In a game played inside Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico, the Oakland Raiders will take on the New England Patriots in a big AFC matchup. The Raiders come into this game having won two of their last three, as they desperately try to keep their playoff hopes alive. Many believed this team to be a Super Bowl contender heading into the season, and they will get a chance to prove those people right if they can beat the Pats on Sunday.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, the Patriots come into this game as the best team in the AFC, and they show no signs of slowing down. Tom Brady has been masterful once again, and the team must think he is going to play forever, after dealing both of his backup quarterbacks during the season. The Patriots have played a lot better on defense as of late, and could very well be hoisting up the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second straight season.

Oakland does have the talent to beat the Patriots, but they have to be more consistent on both sides of the ball. If Derek Carr is taking shots downfield, exploiting a beatable Patriots secondary, the Raiders should be able to hang in there with the Pats for four quarters. However, their defense has to play the game of their lives, especially on third down, where Brady is an absolute surgeon.

Odds

Line: New England Patriots (-6.5)

Over/Under: 53.5

The Raiders are technically the home team in this one, but are still a 6.5 point underdog against the red-hot Patriots. The over/under is a whopping 53.5 points, and these two teams have enough firepower to go over on Sunday. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to OddsShark.com for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

Oakland will put up a good fight in this one, and should have the crowd behind them, but Brady and company will be too much. Despite being 40-years old, Brady has not lost a step, and will find easy sledding against the Oakland defense. Carr will have his moments as well, but the Patriots defense will make just enough stops to win this one by six.

Final Score: Patriots 30, Raiders 24
