The Naval Academy Midshipmen face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday, Nov. 18 in college football Week 12, and here is all the info you need to watch.

Notre Dame’s playoff hopes have vanished. After the stomping in Miami last week, it seems as if the Notre Dame season is over. That is not true. If the Irish can win out, they still have a good chance of getting a New Year’s Six bowl game against a good team. This season is not lost, but they cannot take this week off. Navy comes to town, and last year, the boys from Annapolis had the Irish’s number, as they were able to take them down, 28-27. Notre Dame needs a rebound victory after last week, and Navy is the team standing in the way of that victory.

The Notre Dame offense is led by Brandon Wimbush and Josh Adams. Wimbush is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the country this year. He has thrown for over 1400 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing for over 660 yards and 13 touchdowns. Josh Adams has been a machine this year, as he has rushed for over 1230 yards and nine touchdowns. If Notre Dame is going to win this week, they will have to get back to pounding the rock at the Navy defense.

Last year, the Navy triple option gave the Irish defense fits. This year, Navy is trying to do the same thing. QB Zach Abey has been just as good of a dual threat this year as Wimbush, and is out to prove who is really the top dog. Abey this year has thrown for over 700 yards and six touchdowns, while rushing for over 1200 yards and 13 touchdowns. Navy doesn’t really throw the ball, they just keep you guessing which guy is actually going to get the ball.
