Could the Atletico Madrid  superstar be on his way out of Madrid in search of a better situation?

Antoine Griezmann has created a name for himself over the last two or three seasons, both with Atletico Madrid and the French national team. It seems like every transfer window he’s linked with a move away from the Madrid side to various locations. He has been rumored to be interested in going to clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

It seems imminent at this point, even in the eyes of the manager, Diego Simeone. In a recent interview, Simeone dropped some hints about the possible departure of the French striker. After being subbed off against Real Madrid with the score 0-0, his manager and teammates are beginning to question his commitment to the club. According to Spanish columnist Guillem Balague, Madrid are preparing for his exit.

Back in the summer, Griezmann listed his chances of joining Jose Mourinho’s United at a 6/10. That number is significantly higher going into this upcoming summer. He’s unlikely to make a move during the winter, because he’s capped with Atletico in the Champions League. However, during next summer’s transfer window, it seems as a given that he will leave. Imagine him alongside Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial at United.

There’s no doubt Griezmann is a world-class striker, and that makes it hard for a club like Atletico to afford him. Whereas clubs like United, PSG and Barcelona, who have practically unlimited funds, don’t even have to think twice. No matter where he goes, his services will be in high demand around the world.
