Week 12 doesn’t feature a fantastic lineup of NFL games but it’s Thanksgiving and there’s nothing better than sitting down and watching some football.

It’s Thanksgiving week and while the NFL matchups this week may not be great, the football is still bountiful. We’ve got all 16 teams in action this week with three games for your Thanksgiving slate. After stuffing your face with copious amounts of food there’s no better way to end it than to plop on the couch and watch some football.

For your viewing purposes, here are the top five games you’ll come across this week.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

One of the early matchups Sunday afternoon features a divisional game between two AFC South foes fighting for a playoff spot. Separated by just two games, the Buccaneers, and Falcons are both on two-game winning streaks and looking to keep their playoff hopes alive.

No Jameis Winston, no problem for the Buccaneers. They’ve picked up two straight wins with Ryan Fitzpatrick and have gone from looking ahead to next season to now having a shot at the playoffs. The division is seemingly out of reach with the way the Saints are playing but the Wild Card is still a possibility. All it takes is a couple of more wins to propel them even further in the NFC playoff picture.

The Falcons have also caught fire the past two weeks. Steve Sarkisian seems to have finally figured out the ropes of the offense and they’re getting back on track. Matt Ryan has been efficient and Julio Jones has finally emerged from the trenches and seems back to his old self. The run game is in question with Devonta Freeman’s concussion but the Falcons are hoping he’ll return this Sunday. We know this team has Super Bowl potential and when they catch fire, no opposing team wants any piece of them.

I like the Falcons at home but they’ve also lost stinkers to the Dolphins and Bills in the new stadium. This will be closer than most think but Dann Quinn’s squad should come away with the win this weekend.
