With multiple coaches out of jobs already, these next five coaches on the hot seat could soon be joining them after Week 13.

It’s the final week of the regular season in college football, and that means the firings are going to be happening left and right. For coaches on the hot seat, the time is now to hope for a miracle that their school will keep them around.

For others, their time has already come and the programs have already begun their search for what’s next. We have seen UCLA let go of Jim Mora, Butch Jones cut loose by Tennessee and multiple others already gone.

Now, the floodgates are really going to open with the final week being here. With no games left to play barring those that have made a bowl, firings are about to happen — and they will be swift to say the least. Here are five coaches that need a win this week.

Kliff Kingsbury

After a five-win season last year, Kliff Kingsbury is in danger of another one this season. This week, the Texas Tech Red Raiders will face the Texas Longhorns on the road. To become bowl eligible, they have to get the win.

It’s not going to be easy, however, as the Longhorns have just gotten Connor Williams back and it has made a noticeable change up front. The Red Raiders have to be able to stop the run game if they’re going to have a chance to win.

If they do win, they’ll become bowl eligible. If they don’t, then that could be the end of Kliff Kingsbury as the program looks to go in a different direction than the dreary one in which it is currently headed.
